Dear Friends of Comfort Crew for Military Kids,
We hope each of you celebrate this holiday season surrounded by love, laughter, family, and good friends!
We are honored that military families trust and request our resources daily and thanks to your generosity, we are happy to report that in 2023, we have:
- distributed over 21,000 Comfort Kit resources to help families navigate through deployments, reintegration, injuries, and loss,
- performed the With You all the Way! Tour to over 3,500 children at schools on and off bases in Texas, Florida, and Virginia,
- reached 500 users with our new Comfort Crew Academy, and
- launched the new Comfort Crew app, making our digital content even easier for families to access.
While we are proud of these accomplishments, we recognize that we have been unable to meet every need. Although we continue to fulfill every individual family request, we have over 1,000 requests on our waitlist for bulk orders from military-connected resource professionals. These dedicated individuals serve military kids in their communities and have grown to depend on our resources to support those efforts.
We love hearing from military families who have received our Comfort Kits. A military spouse wrote, “This small box made a big impact on our family. She feels loved and at peace when she didn’t before.Thank you for all you do and thank you for supporting our military and their families. It takes a village.”
