Our Bringing Families Back Together program is designed to work on both the deployment and reintegration experience by giving children and families the tools to deal with this challenging situation. The Bringing Families Back Together (BFBT) Program utilizes the With You All The Way! Dealing with Deployment Kit, along with its follow-up resource, the Together Again! Helping Military Families Reconnect Kit, to address the common issues children ages 6 to 12 experience when a family member deploys and then returns home.
Military families can now visit the Military Family Webportal to request these resources for their kids at no cost to them. Thanks to partners like Carry The Load, The ASMBA STAR Foundation, and other grantors, as well as generous donors, The Comfort Crew is currently able to distribute 380 kits a month directly to military kids through our Military Family Webportal. In May 2014, we received 535 requests for Deployment Kits. We are honored to help these military families, but need your help to meet these increasing needs.
