The Comfort Crew for Military Kids receives requests daily from military families dealing with deployments, reintegration, injuries, and loss. While we are working hard to identify partners to help us meet these requests, we currently have a waitlist of over 1,000 families waiting to receive Comfort Kits.
We received a heartfelt request from a military spouse and mother (21 years active duty Air Force) seeking to help her 9-year-old son with their recent move back to the states, his dad’s current deployment, challenges with attending a new school and being bullied, and the unexpected recent loss of his puppy. We are happy to hear he received his deployment kit and it is providing the comfort and support he needs.
